The Memorial to Rovaniemi (German Soldier’s Cemetery) is dedicated to the German soldiers who died during the Second World War.

Take the road that passes behind the airport following the signs “German Soldier’s Cemetery“.
Once reached the parking lot, walk into the woods following the signs. After a few meters, on the left there is a prayer structure.

Some tips:
At the two Shell gas stations (north and south of Rovaniemi), you can eat well without spending much.
If you’re only staying a couple of nights, it’s not necessary to rent a car. But if you want to see more attractions, it’s essential to rent one, as many interesting places in Rovaniemi are a few kilometers away.
