In front of the village of Santa Claus there is (attached to the Shell petrol station) a “Helmi Simpuka” service station open 24 hours a day


From Monday to Friday the “Mariza” offers the traditional Finnish buffet lunch for less than 10 euros (opening hours only from 10.00am to 2.00pm closed on Saturday and Sunday).

The nearby “Koti” with its salad buffet and soup of the day for 8.50 euros.

Helmi Simpuka” offers lunch in addition a la carte (excellent grilled salmon), a buffet menu for a few euros. To consider that here they serve an excellent grilled salmon.


In the evening, restaurants generally close early so do not delay too much for dinner. However in Rovaniemi you find the cuisine of different ethnic groups. Plan B, have dinner at home in the warmth.
